Hello all!  It almost seems as if I’ve disappeared from this space, huh?  My posts are always starting this way lately, but we have truly been staying pretty busy.  Especially since Daddy was able to come home for a two week visit recently!  We enjoyed every second of it and it was almost harder to send him off this time than it was the first time.  We only have about four months left, and believe me we are counting down each and every day eagerly.  Dash and I were able to have a very special “date night” and spent our first night away from Asher.  I think we missed him more than he missed us!   We came home the next morning and rushed upstairs like kids on Christmas morning, just for him to turn around and look at us for about three seconds before turning back to his cartoon that he was watching.  Dash was blown away with how much he had grown in the seven months since he had last seen him.  We also took a little family trip out to Fredricksburg and went hiking on Enchanted Rock.

Dash has made it back to Afghanistan safely now and seems more eager than ever to finish up his work there and get back home.  It’s starting to feel like the home stretch for our units soldiers now, everyone is feeling tired and ready to be finished.  Please keep the soldiers and families of 3rd Brigade in your prayers.  Now for pictures!
